Jaguar Land Rover Showrooms, China

Published date:2026/8/26 16:14:19

In premium automotive retail, a showroom is more than a space for displaying vehicles. To create a more engaging and flexible showroom environment, several Jaguar Land Rover showrooms partnered with HDL to implement smart lighting solutions. By combining centralized control with scene-based lighting, HDL helps transform showroom lighting into an integral part of the customer experience.

Smarter Lighting Management

Managing lighting across different areas can be complex, especially when each space has different functions and operating hours. HDL brings the lighting system together through centralized control, allowing staff to manage the showroom, delivery area, service area and offices through one platform.

Preset lighting scenes and schedules can be configured for different areas and periods, while staff can easily control lighting modes through the mobile phone. From daily operations to after-hours energy saving, the lighting environment can automatically adapt to the various needs, making management more efficient while reducing unnecessary energy consumption.

Lighting Designed Around the Customer Journey

Different moments call for different lighting environments. HDL can create dedicated scenes for key customer interactions. For new vehicle launches, focused lighting and dynamic effects help draw attention to the vehicle's design and create a more immersive presentation. During customer consultations, warmer lighting creates a comfortable environment for communication. During off-peak hours, energy-saving scenes can be activated while maintaining essential lighting. This scene-based approach allows the same showroom to adapt to different activities and create a more engaging experience throughout the day.

A Signature Moment for Vehicle Delivery

Vehicle delivery is more than a handover. It is the moment when a customer officially begins their journey with the new vehicle. To make this experience more memorable, HDL use customized lighting scenes for different models. A refined golden glow highlights the luxury and presence of the Range Rover, while crisp white lighting reflects the rugged character of the Defender. For the Jaguar F-TYPE, dynamic red lighting brings a sense of energy and movement to the delivery experience.

When the customer enters the delivery area, the lighting and vehicle can come alive together, turning a routine handover into a distinctive brand moment.

More Than Lighting

With HDL smart lighting solutions, it can bring together operational efficiency, flexible lighting management and a more memorable customer experience. From everyday showroom operations to vehicle presentation and delivery, lighting becomes part of the brand experience — helping create retail spaces that are smarter, more efficient and more engaging.
