Designed by the late legendary architect ,“Queen of the Curve”  Zaha Hadid, whose major works include London Aquatics Centre in UK, BMW Central Building in Germany, and the Dancing Towers in Dubai, etc, the 40-storey new hotel owns a dramatic exoskeleton exterior, offering both a distinctive identity for the tower and an opportunity to optimise the spaces within.

Morpheus boasts 770 guest rooms, 9 luxury suites, 2 Michelin-starred restaurants, a Portuguese restaurant, a casino, spa and sky pool.  All the guest rooms and public areas have been fully automated with HDL intelligent lighting, HVAC and shading solutions.

HDL engineers installed the RCU and Input/Output modules to realize the intelligent control of lighting, curtain, air conditioning and TV in the guestrooms. With the customized pre-set modes, when a guest comes into the room the Welcome Mode will be activated. The lights then turn on, the curtains open automatically, and the air conditioner stays at a comfortable temperature. What’s more, each guest room has been equipped with HDL Enviro panels. The smooth uninterrupted glass exterior and an aluminium unibody enclosure of the panels blend perfectly with the elegant indoor decoration.  With the built-in temperature and proximity sensor, the Enviro panel will wake up as long as a guest approaches. Thanks to Enviro panel, a guest can control over the room devices effortlessly by simply pressing a button, offering the guests a truly memorable and comfortable stay in the hotel. 

Besides the guest room, the hotel management also attach great importance to the lighting control in the spacious public areas.  The hotel lobby is the first impression for guests entering the hotel. HDL has programmed multiple lighting modes to ensure the hotel lobby is always in a refined lighting atmosphere, leaving an incomparable luxury hotel impression on all the customers. Different lighting modes are also available in the hotel corridors, which not only reduces the energy consumption but also increases the work efficiency for the hotel management staff.
