Among the appliances in buildings, HVAC system and lighting account for a large proportion of the daily electricity consumption for they are frequently used in the daily life. Therefore, the hospital used sensors for the highest comfort and efficiency at the lowest cost. For example, the lighting brightness will be automatically lowered or dimmed when the system detects that the public areas such as corridors are unoccupied. Or the HVAC system will be automatically adjusted and kept at a level of comfort to reduce unnecessary energy waste when the temperature in the hospital is lower or higher than the set value.
